BiFilter2 is not only a high quality filter module, it a powerful multi-effect tool which drastically extends the filter plug-in concept.

 
What is BiFilter?

BiFilter is a stereo multi-mode filter with a selection of 47 different sounding filter types. You can combine these filters with 8 additional distortion types, FM, AM, wave shaping and lo-fi effects to create new and unheard-of sounds. A high precision display shows the frequency response of the filter in real-time. Since you can always see and hear what's happening, BiFilter is very user-friendly.

Distortion types:

  • Volume – Drive controls the volume of the signal
  • Tube Amp – A soft-knee distortion
  • Transistor – An asymmetric distortion
  • Presence – A saturated distortion with falloff at higher levels
  • Hard Clip – A hard-knee  distortion
  • Bitcrush – Reduces the bit rate of the audio to ‘lo-fi’
  • Waveshape – This distortion type adds additional harmonics
  • Pow2 – Adds harmonics. It is similar to exciters
