Bug reporting

Tone2 tries to keep the quality of the products as high as possible. Here is a guide how you should report bugs.

If you think that you found a bug you should first check this:

1) Do you have the latest version of the product? You can check this here: News
2) Can you prove that the problem is not caused by the host software? Does this also happen in other hosts? If not, you should contact the host’s support.
3) Can you confirm that you use only legal software (no reFX/Tone2 cracks or serials)?

For a proper bug tracking we need to know this:

1) What plugin version do you use?
2) What host software do you use (version number)?
3) Does the problem appear also with other hosts? Which ones?
4) Is the problem reproducible? How can it be reproduced?
5) Attach all necessary files (screen shots, mp3 ,...) to an e-mail and write to tone2@tone2.com
