The left image shows the OSC section of Gladiator 2. This is the heart of the HCM synthesis. The OSCs of Gladiator are the most powerful ones in the history of synthesis.

Description:

OSC1A-2D: An organ is PWM and FM modulated. It crossfades to a Voice. The output is passed though a 102 dB highpass filter. Some granular noise is added.

OSC3A-4D: A bell is synced with a sawtooth wave and passed through a waveshaper. The output is FM modulated with a piano and smoothed in time. Some multistring sound is added.

OSC5: The sample OSC plays a looped hoofer sound.

Mixer: OSC1/2 is AM modulated with OSC3/4.

The left image shows a part of the waveform selection of Gladiator 2.

There are classic waveforms like sawtooth or Square (WV), synthetic multiwaves from classic synthesizers (EL), organs (OR), percussive (PE), brass (BR), Guitars (GT), flutes (FL), pianos (PI), strings (ST), voices (VOX) and vocoders (VO).

In total there are more than 36,000 different spectra available. Every spectrum can be modified in realtime.
